Australian lychee growers have a huge surplus. Here’s an idea, make more lychee gels for me! Or, maybe I should vacation to Australia . . .
Anyway, bad news for the farmers, good news for lychee consumers. I wonder if any of those lychees will make it to the US.
Oh My God! I’m in heaven! I thought that I would never taste that sweet lychee gel again! But no! But yes! The time is here again! Thanks to Amanda, who bestowed upon me this bounty of lychee based glory! Now I just have to decide how to ration out my lychee gels. 6 months of lychee gel with one a month? Or 6 minutes of lychee gel with one a minute? Only time will tell. Hooray for the lychee!
This is the greatest Valentine’s Day surprise I’ve ever had. So excited! They’re in the fridge now, cooling, waiting, . . . Lychee Gel!! (as a side note, this larger size (not the choking size) are becoming widely available — hooray!)
I ate this lychee gel today. Thanks to my friends who brought it for me. I love lychee gels. Unfortunately, the original lychee gels are banned in the states because of several choking cases (the lychee gels were just the size of a child’s throat opening, and because of the gel, they aren’t easily pulled out by medical tools). These lychee gels are much bigger, so I think they evade the ban. Anyway, it sure made me very happy to enjoy a tasty lychee gel today. Thanks!
