High Resort, and I had a pretty good time.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">Why was it my last day?<span style=\"\">  <\/span>Unfortunately, it\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s all due to the fact that you do not have a fundamental understanding of Customer Service. &#8212; The customer is always right and everything possible should be done to make them happy.<span style=\"\">  <\/span>Apparently, $12 is impossible.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">I was at your resort two weeks ago (01\/08\/2005) and upgraded a Ralph\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s ticket ($38) to a Beginner\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Package Ticket for an additional $12.<span style=\"\">  <\/span>My main concern with the Beginner\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Package was that it only allows access to the lower mountain.<span style=\"\">  <\/span>When I asked the cashier, I was assured that my lift ticket would work for the entire mountain.<span style=\"\">  <\/span>Before I was able to ski that day, the resort was closed due to weather and I was given a voucher.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">When returning today to use the voucher, I was charged an additional $12 to allow me to have a lift ticket for the entire mountain.<span style=\"\">  <\/span>I explained that I had been assured that I already had a lift ticket for the entire mountain and that I shouldn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t be charged the extra $12.<span style=\"\">  <\/span>The cashier disagreed, so I paid the $12 and took my complaint to Guest Services.<span style=\"\">  <\/span>Guest Services wasn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t able to fix my problem and I had to go to the VIP window.<span style=\"\">  <\/span>The clerk at the VIP window reiterated the Beginner\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Package Policy over and over again (which I am familiar with), and I reiterated (we were actually screaming at each other) over and over again that regardless of what the policy is, I was assured a full mountain lift ticket and that Mt. High has reneged on their promise.<span style=\"\">  <\/span>I don\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t care what your policies and fine print say \u00e2\u20ac\u201c I was made a promise by you, which you did not keep.<span style=\"\">  <\/span>No employee of yours should be screaming at me, a customer who came with many friends and will never come back.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span style=\"\"> <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">Enjoying a day of skiing was more important to me than $12.<span style=\"\">  <\/span>But, the sad thing is, losing a customer forever wasn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t worth more than $12 to you.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">I hope you do well in the future without my business and that you can learn from your mistakes and start following a very basic rule:<span style=\"\">  <\/span>\u00e2\u20ac\u0153The customer is always right, and everything possible should be done to make them happy.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<span style=\"\">  <\/span>It\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s too late to win me back, but hopefully not too late to lose any others.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">With Regret,<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <my><br \/><\/my><\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><my>[My Signature]<\/my><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><my><my><br \/>[My Name]<br \/>[My Address]<br \/><\/my><\/my><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">&#8212;-<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">See also:  <a href=\"http:\/\/bendogg.blogspot.com\/2005\/01\/mt-high-customer-service-sucks.html\">Mt High Customer Service Sucks<\/a><\/p>\n<div style=\"clear:both; padding-bottom: 0.25em;\"><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Sent Monday, January 24th.&#8212;-January 23rd, 2005 Mountain High ResortATTN: Customer Service\/ManagementPO Box 3010Wrightwood, CA 92397 Today was my last day of skiing at Mt.
